another root method.. 
Not too long ago, we brought you a nearly universal root method for ICS devices<http://www.xda-developers.com/android/nearly-universal-root-methods-for-most-ics-phones/>. As Android gets older and more devices get Jelly Bean, it was only a matter of time before additional methods were created. Now, there’s a universal method going around that can do both ICS and Jelly Bean. The method is a script written by XDA Recognized Developer Bin4ry<http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=1346722>. It takes advantage of an issue found that’s native to Android. As Bin4ary explains: i made a small script which is able to root ICS/JB phones. It uses a remount timing issue in Androids “adb restore” service. So normally it should work on nearly all ICS/JB devices, for some it won’t but the idea may work in a slightly modded version So it should be compatible with many ICS and JB devices. So far it’s been tested on a number of newer <http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1515>Xperia<http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1515>devices<http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1515>and the Google Nexus 7 <http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1673>, but it will likely work on many other devices. This will be especially useful when new devices get released with Jelly Bean preloaded. Using it is a breeze as well. Download the *.*rar file, extract with 7zip, and run the *runme.bat*.
