File dengan nama .nomedia digunakan untuk menyembunyikan foto atau video dari jangkauan search gallery om..
Jadi kalo ada sebuah folder dan dikasih file dengan nama .nomedia tersebut, gallery menganggap tidak ada file di folder tersebut..dan walau diisi picture atau video atau musik, tidak akan muncul di gallery..
