Kalo GNex Indonesia itu versinya yakjuxw yg updatenya dihandle Samsung dan biasanya memang lebih telat dari versi US (yakju/takju) yg updatenya dihandle langsung oleh Google.
Kalo tetap gak mau root, gak ada yg bisa dilakukan kecuali menunggu sampai update 4.1.2 utk yakjuxwnya dirilis oleh Samsung. Kalo mau root, bisa flash langsung 4.1.2 pake versi yakju/takju.
