Benar sekali. Umumnya rumah atau gedung yang terbakar karena listrik, bukan karena korsleting atau hubung singkat, tetapi karena sambungan yang buruk, kapasitas kabel tidak cukup, MCB begitu saja diperbesar tanpa memeriksa kapasitas kabel dan sambungan2, akibatnya kawat kabel atau sambungan panas, membara, ada bahan didekat situ yang mudah terbakar, terjadilah kebakaran. Jadi kalau terjadi hubung singkat, pasti MCB jatuh. Juga kalau di area tempat terjadi kabel atau sambungan membara, kalau tidak ada bahan yang mudah terbakar, tidak akan terjadi kebakaran.
Untuk kasus handphone, tablet, notebook yang meleleh terbakar, bisa saja terjadi kalau rancangan kurang sempurna, terutama kalau tidak digunakan komponen2 safety. Umumnya sih produk rancangan Jepang, lebih memperhatikan safety. Salam.
