According to David over at handhelditems.com, Sprint will be releasing the Android 2.1 Update for HTC Hero users within the next week. When speaking with a Sprint associate via webchat asking just exactly when the update is to arrive, he then was helpful enough to post a direct quote stating that “The HTC Hero Android version will release in a week”.
We have been unable to confirm this for sure, however if this is correct then there will be a lot of happy Sprint users in the community.
