You could wait for FireFox Mobile for Android to be released, or you
can keep an eye out for Skyfire which is confirmed to be headed for
the Android platform as well. In fact, they’re now looking for
interest Android users to test out the Alpha version of Skyfire for
Android suggesting that its release won’t be that far behind. To date,
Skyfire is available on both Windows Mobile and Symbian OS. Skyfire
proudly supports Flash 10, Ajax, Javascript, and Silverlight 2, and is
being marketed as “the only mobile browser to bring the full PC Web to
phones.” Their claim of it being the only browser to bring the full PC
web to phones may be questionable for some, but Skyfire is undeniably
a competent browser that can truly enhance internet surfing on a
mobile phone and will certainly be a welcome addition to the Android
app family.
