The performance compared to MTK6582 was not different too far. The android interface was already so smooth. We will only notice the performance difference when playing games or browsing the internet.
Comparing to MTK6582 powered phone, the performance was similar when loading and displaying large pages. Same thing happened with Java Script animation loaded pages. These pages loaded slowly and choppy just like the any other smartphone powered by MTK6582 or MTK6589 or even the latest MTK6589T. In games also there was no much different. The heavy games played almost smoothly as in quad core phones. It was not confirmed at this time if the issue was because the chip was already at maximum performance level or maybe the ROM was not optimized. Nonetheless, those who are looking for value for money phones should choose MTK6589T powered or even MTK6282. Check out my review on Jiayu G3T or even Cubot One. These phones cost much less.
