Xiaomi is holding its annual product launch event on July 22 in Beijing and it is teasing a product made from a piece of steel metal.
Bin Lin, the co-founder and President of Xiaomi made the announcement on his Facebook Page a few minutes ago. The event will revolve around the story about "The journey of a piece of steel metal". Based on the event poster, it is highly likely that Xiaomi will be unveiling the Mi 4 smartphone. A photo of an alleged front panel of the device surfaced on the Internet <http://www.hardwarezone.com.sg/tech-news-leaked-front-panel-xiaomi-mi-4-hints-ultra-thin-bezels> a few days ago which shows off its ultra-slim bezels. To date, all its smartphones are clad in plastic to keep costs to a minimum.
