Menceritakan tentang seorang wartawan Australia (mel Gibson) yang berada di tengah arus/situasi politik yg memanas th.65-66, Tokoh komunis pada film ini banyak di sorot.. Ada special appearance dari Linda Hunt.. dimana dia berperan sebagai Orang Indonesia dan berjenis kelamin Laki-laki. Nama-nya saya lupa.. Ada juga pemeran utama elien 1. (lupa namanya).
