A new website advocating a boycott of Microsoft in all areas of computer
usage, particularly for Computer Science research and education, is now
online. While this isn't the first site devoted to a Microsoft boycott, the
intent is to get the word out there that unless people actively support
alternatives to Microsoft technology, then Microsoft will successfully
monopolize the computing industry. If we can spread the word, hopefully
more people will realize what's at stake.
