MaduraSoft announces MaduraPage[TM] 1.0 for UNIX(Linux,Solaris)
Beta version.

MaduraPage[TM] 1.0 is a WYSWYG web authoring tool for
creating a homepage based on applet which performs HTML
functions plus additional features such as moving objects
(text, image, etc.) and object exact positioning.

Why applet ?
The current HTML layout imposes many restrictions which
limits one's creativity in creating a homepage. For example,
you cannot put an object at any location, you cannot have
objects overlapped each other, and many more.

Can I edit the HTML output ?
Yes you can. The output page is an HTML plus an applet. You
might edit the HTML as you want.

The page created by MaduraPage[TM] 1.0 can be viewed by
JDK1.0 supporting browsers, such as Netscape Navigator 3.0 or above,
Internet Explorer 3.0 or above.

Key features in the current MaduraPage[TM] 1.0 release include:
 * Objects creation on a homepage with WYSWYG (what you see is
   what you get) graphical user interface (GUI)
 * Object types are: text, image, button, rectangle, line, oval,
   animation, user defined applet.
 * Various font, color, alignment of text objects
 * Linking objects to URL addresses
 * Image mapping (setting image regions to different URL addresses)
 * Multiple types of rectangles, ovals, and lines
 * Create animation objects using several images, with various effects
 (scrolling and moving)
 * Set the properties of an animation object, i.e. the time interval
 between image change, or how the image changes
 * Overlap objects
 * Exact object layout
 * Object movement
 * No plug-in needed
 * FTP upload service included

System requirements:
 * OS: UNIX (Linux, Solaris) with JDK1.1.x

For more information on features, demo, or to download the
package, visit the MaduraSoft web site at http://www.madurasoft.com

The release version will be available within 1 month. Please
send the bug report to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
