directory log dan cache squid harus diubah ownershipnya,
chown -R nobody:nogroup /direktori/squid/logs
chown -R nobody:nogroup /direktori/squid/cache
dan harus dipastikan bahwa 'nobody' ada di /etc/passwd,
serta 'nogroup' ada di /etc/group
