hallo milis,
sorry kalau sudah pernah dibahas:

review: RecieveIt!
deskripsi: program tambahan buat terima segala jenis file ke Palm

What is it?
-
Equattor (http://www.equattor.com) has released a software for Palm OS
users out there called RecieveIt. Like what the application name
implies, it allows you to receive file of any extensions and save them
direct to your external memory. This mean you can wave good-bye to
those pesky "Data Received in Unknown Format" messages you get when
your Pocket PC friend decide to send you a ZIP file via infrared.

How does it work?
-
The setup is rather simple. At the main screen, first specify which
folder you want to receive your files in your external memory card
(either SD/MMC card, Memory Stick, CF, etc.). Next, you have to setup
the file extension and which location you want to store the received
file. Let's say you want to store all zip files (with file extension
.zip) in your "/Received Files/ZIP" folder, you have to add "zip" to
the list and then specify the folder name which will be "/Received
Files/ZIP". That's all you have to do. Now just wait for your buddies
over on the notebook or Pocket PC to beam you a zip file and watch the
file get received. I have tested this with my Zire71 and the iPAQ
h2210. This program works like a charm. I had no problems receiving
files on the Zire71 from the iPAQ although I must say the file
transfer is slow for large files (not really the programs fault).

More information
-
Do note that there are certain limitations in the software. You have
to specify all the known file extensions that you intend to receive
before it will actually save the files that are beamed over to you.
You also must have an external memory card to store your files. You
cannot store your pre-defined files in your RAM --- internal memory
(you have to remember that you can only store PRC and PDB files in
your PDA's internal memory so this is why you need an external
storage). The other thing is beaming large files (even via Bluetooth)
is rather slow so I guess if you need to send your MP3 to your PDA ...
you better start thinking twice about this (but like I mentioned
before, the slow transfer rate isn't really the program's fault).

Overview
-
All in all, this is a great program to overcome certain huge
limitations with the Palm OS receiving mechanism and I would certainly
recommend that you get this program if you do a lot of file transfers
via Bluetooth or Infrared.
