Rasanya sudah lumayan lama Mod (=Moderator) nggak welcoming
temen-temen id-ruby yang gabung (walau dalam hati ngharepin rasanya
udah ngerasa pada diwelcome lewat file otomatis sih). Untuk
menghidupkan suasana, mari kita saling mempererat komunikasi dengan
saling ngenalin siapa siapa aja yang uda pada gabung disini, walau
nggak secara langsung lewat kopdar (=kopi darat/gathering/meet-up),
jadi kita bisa bisa aja posting tentang siapa anda, ngapain aja, tau
id-ruby dari mana trus motivasi bergabung. ini sengaja saya pisahkan
beda dengan yang di form member baru karena ada data-data private yang
tentu harus seizin yang bersangkutan kemudian baru boleh tersebar di
internet.
Mungkin ada baiknya jika kita mengambil sedikit waktu untuk saling
mengenal kepada semua anggota id-ruby.

Because I know there are non-Indonesian and non-Indonesian speakers
members here on ID-Ruby, I also would like to translate all of my
paragraphs above in English while still learning, improving, and
struggling to be much better and better thinker in English.
It's been months that our ID-Ruby Moderator haven't been welcoming
ID-Ruby New Members manually (although deep in their hearts, they
would feel it's been done via bunch of automatic files when new
members joined ID-Ruby). It's time to introduce yourself, so that each
member who either can meet at ID-Ruby meetup in Indonesia or can't
meet at ID-Ruby meetup because of several reasons such as no time,
busy as a family driver or staying in overseas such as in USA, UK,
Europe, CA, MY, S'pore, etc, etc could get to know each other much
better, including adding/relating FaceBook.Com friendships,
Friendsters, LinkedIn.Com, MySpace.Com, Multiply.Com or any other
community sites if you have ones. We deliberately make this post
different from new member form because we would avoid publishing
private data to public / internet wihout his/her permission.
Perhaps we can all take a moment to introduce ourselves to the rest
of the group.

I'll start from myself, just call me "Rie!" in one syllabel, that's
the friendliest call to a freaking proud to be an Indonesian like me,
not like non-Indonesian speakers who usually call me "Arie" in two
syllables completely without "R" letter incompletely (although it's
just okay due to their tounges). I'm just a newbie forever who has got
nothing special but has many cool nice friends around the globe, that
was all about me, you may ask me if you want more, though. I work as
an IT Application Developer (only Ruby and also Ruby on Rails) with
many "bule-bule" (blond guys) here in Kuala Lumpur - MY. I knew
ID-Ruby from Steve (his full name is Steven Haryanto, many geeks I
know often call him as an almighty powerful Indonesian Mailing List
Father, and he's also an ID-Ruby Creator in 2001 where most of us
still slept in other traditional non-ruby languages and he is
definitely one of our lovely and full of kindness moderators we got
here). My join motive was I want senior guys here would teach me to be
much better and we could learn together regarding fun stuffs we have
so that we'll become happy-chappy sharing partners.
