Chanaka Jayasena resolved IDENTITY-114.
---------------------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
Assignee: Yumani Ranaweera (was: Chanaka Jayasena)
I fixed the alignment issues and look and feel of the help text appearing on
the "Add New User Store : Configure Properties" page.
> 'User store' help text
> ----------------------
>
> Key: IDENTITY-114
> URL: http://wso2.org/jira/browse/IDENTITY-114
> Project: WSO2 Identity Solution
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: admin-ui
> Affects Versions: beta
> Environment: WinXP, JDK1.5, FF2.0.0.6
> Reporter: Yumani Ranaweera
> Assigned To: Yumani Ranaweera
> Priority: Minor
> Fix For: 1.0
>
>
> NOTE: Tested in QA build 19-Oct-07 (svn rivision 9057).
> Steps:
> -------
> 1. Login to IS admin console, and go to 'User stores".
> 2. Go in to the 'configurations' page of all 3 types of 'user stores'
> Issues:
> --------
> 1. There's a mis-alignment in the text boxes in all 3 pages. Also please
> include a small gap between the textbox and the help text of each line.
> 2. The configurations' page of user store types of 'Default Releam' doesn't
> have help text
> 3. Comparing the help text given for user store types 'JDBCRealm' and
> 'LDAPReleam';
> JDBCRealm gives short descriptions while LDAPRealm gives examples. Can we
> adopt a common appraoch throughout. I would prefer to have conbination of
> both appropriatly.
> Eg.
> Column name -Comma seperated columns from where the application will read
> user attributes
> Connection URI -Connection URI of XXXXX. e.g xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
> 4. Suggestion - can we have the name of the 'user store type' included into
> the heading of the 'configurations' page.
> e.g. Currently it shows as "Add New User Store : Configure Properties".
> Suggestion is to have it as "Add New User Store of JDBCRealm : Configure
> Properties"
