OK. Understood.
Just seems that so many tools these days, from Trac to GitHub integrate
wiki with the tracker, allowing you to hand-roll custom lists like these
but still easily integrate / hyperlink them into the tracker.
Going to Google Docs seems a fairly awkward way to do this. Is there a
wiki integrated into the main Python tracker?
Not being able to click on an issue number -- and to to the issue -- is
the thing I most dislike about my text file. You are right that a
Google doc would not solve this. As far as I know,
https://wiki.python.org/moin/FrontPage#use
is not integrated with bugs.python.org. I may wait until the workflow
re-organizaiton plans are announced.
People sometimes use 'index issues' on the tracker to make point to
multiple issues, but messages cannot be edited. I could submit a
metatracker issue, but they seen to get less response than tracker issues.
