I spent a couple of hours today coding up a mockup of what I think would be
possible to do as far as (optional) single window integration. Screenshot here:

Amount of space for each area is user controlled. And this would also nicely
complement doing a tabbed editor thing for the top part of the window of
course.
Thoughts…?
