Given that the Driver folks apparently are new to the IETF world, please permit me to elaborate a bit about the document that is needed: It is a technical protocol specification that lays out all of the procedures and formats to be used. The document needs to be sufficient to permit an implementor to build an interoperable version of the capability. This must be considerably more thorough than the section of a patent that supposedly provides implementation details to a person practised in the art of the patent. d/ ps. Given the history of postings and claims by iDriver, and the fact that details have not been forthcoming, I propose that their activities occupy this working group no further, until the necessary protocol specification have been posted as an Internet Draft. ---------- Dave Crocker <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Brandenburg InternetWorking <http://www.brandenburg.com> tel +1.408.246.8253; fax +1.408.273.6464
