--- Start of Idrisi List message Hello, Using IFW 2.010, I'm trying to convert an Idrisi raster containing negative and positive integer values to a vector format. As soon as the operation begins I get an "error overflow" message and Idrisi crashes. On another topic, I was wondering if anyone had any info about how Idrisi deals with islands polygons. It looks like Idrisi uses a negative feature identifier to denote there is an island within a polygon. My questions is "Can a polygon vector file can have negative feature identifiers that do not denote a hole in a polygon". For example, in a contour map, what happens if you were showing the contours for Death Valley where the heights would be depicted as negatives (e.g., -50, -40) for some valleys and positives for peaks that rose above sea level again? Any help and ideas would be appreciated. Justin --- End of Idrisi List message IDRISI-L is an unmoderated list.
