--- Start of Idrisi List message I have a contour image imported from an Arc-info ungenerate file created in Grass which must be displayed with a legend. I have 17 integer contour levels ranging from -30 to +9 (mgals) which describe 123 line features. I have created a values file from database workshop which maps the integers from 0-17 (0 has no contour equivalent, so it maps to nothing) to the distinct contour levels. The corresponding .dvl file has a "legend cats : 18" entry followed by the apropriate "category ID : INT " entries. I have created a grey scale line palette which displays correctly when I do not link to the .val file to use the legend. When I link to the .val file and display the legend the first 9 or so (I haven't counted rigorously) contour levels seem to display with the same color as the "zero" level which does not correspond to a real data value. This means I have contours with no shading except for the highest levels. There doesn't seem to be much in the documentation about vector legends, except for editing the numerical/category entries manually while they display. Does anyone have any experience with this ostensibly simple idea? --- End of Idrisi List message IDRISI-L is an unmoderated list.
