--- Start of Idrisi List message I've been so far unsuccessful in finding any easy solutions for Haralick parameters calcluations on Windows machines. Justin Quirouette signaled the r.le programs: http://blue.lakeheadu.ca/grass/gdp/terrain/r_le_22.html. Unfortunately for me, they work under GRASS, i.e. UNIX or LINUX operating systems. Also under UNIX or LINUX there is an image processing freeware program called XITE (http://www.ifi.uio.no/~blab/Software/Xite/ReferenceManual/Contents.html). XITE has modules that work also under Win95/NT but its display module won't work in Win95 and the file conversions appear to be somehow dodgy. XITE will calculate a heap of textural measures based on the co-occurance matrix. As of Win95 image processing commercial softwares, PCI EASI/PACE (http://www.pcigeomatics.com/product_ind/easipace.html) seems to have this ability.
