Hi there -

Has anyone else had trouble using PROJECT to get from one REF system to
another, when neither of the REF systems are Lat/Long?

Am I missing something or perhaps I am just unlucky? I am typically
projecting rather large files (around 50 to 100 Mb at each end) of rather
large geographical areas (Europe, China, etc.). If I use PROJECT to get
from REF-1 to Lat/Long, then use it again to get from Lat/Long to REF-2,
then this approach seems to be OK.

When I try to do it in one step (i.e. REF-1 straight to REF-2) the error I
get is "Division by zero".

Requiring to use the two-step process is a bit of a burden, as these
projections can take hours and I usually do them overnight.

Any further insight would be most welcome.

Cheers,

Graham
