Mike Sawada ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) has a Windows progran titled IDRCON 1.0.1
available at
http://aix1.uottawa.ca/academic/arts/geographie/lpcweb/sections1/software/frmsoft.htm.
"This can be used for conversion from xyz text files to IDRISI vector files or
from IDRISI vector files to xyz text files.
It is more forgiving than IDRISI's xyz import utilities because this program
accepts space, comma or tab delimited text files."
I don't see anything about batch conversions but maybe it can help you.

Hi folks,
Two questions:
1.) is it possible to call modules from IDRISI v.2 (windows) from an
external application such as a DOS batch or BASIC program? The IML
interface just doesn't cut it.
if not:
2.) has anyone created an application or module that emulates the current
xyzidris module (v.2) and will run from the DOS prompt (will read in an
x,y,z location and output an IDRISI vector file)? I have stepped back and
installed a DOS version of IDRISI (v.4.1) so that I can take advantage of
the much superior, yet simple, DOS Batch utilities, but unfortunately the
XYZidris module hadn't been invented when version 4.1 was in vogue.
I am at the end of my rope. All help is desperately appreciated.
