Thanks to all those who responded to my query, however we had already
tried most of your solutions:
Idrisi runs fine on our PII machines - it does not on our PIII machine.
The only difference between the PII's & the PIII is the processor. The
graphics card is the same and as we use NAL,
the hard disks of all the machines are mirrors of each other. Thus it is
also unlikely it is a DLL issue.
I am not really that bothered, as we are getting Idrisi32 which should
not have the same sorts of graphics/bit depth related problems (I
hope!). However, not everyone may be so lucky.
If anyone has any other ideas as to why the magnifier zoom crashes
Idrisi while the window zoom does not, let me know!
