The new version of CartaLinx, version 1.2, works with the new version of
Idrisi, Idrisi32. Anyone who has CartaLinx of any version will
automatically get a new CD with CartaLinx version 1.2. This is a free
upgrade. You don't need to do anything.
If you purchased Idrisi32, you will soon be getting your tutorial manual
(which is now in-house) as well as a new installation CD for Idrisi32 with
all the fixes that have been implemented since the original release. We
expect to start shipping these packages in about 2 weeks.
If you are a CartaLinx user who also purchased Idrisi32, you will get all
three things, CartaLinx version 1.2 CD, Idrisi32 Tutorial, and new Idrisi32
CD all in one packet. Again, we expect to start sending these out in about
2 weeks.
Regarding file formats, if you have Idrisi32, file structure information is
in the on-line help system and is also found in the Idrisi Guide to GIS and
Image Processing Volume 1. If you do not have Idrisi32, you can download a
document detailing the Idrisi32 file structures from the Downloads section
of our website www.clarklabs.org. If you have any questions about the new
file structures after reading the text file or the information in your help
