--- Start of Idrisi List message There is a known bug in CartaLinx 1.1 such that when one coverage is appended to another coverage, information contained in the NumericUserID, TextUserID fields for Linked Nodes is stripped out of the resulting file. The bug does not affect the fields for Polygon Locators or Points (both retain information entered to these fields). I have tried various work-arounds to the problem, but have had no success that is 100% accurate. Part of the difficulty is that there is a re-ordering of appended coverage information and using "sequence-data-was-entered" is not a reliable indicator of the original ordering of the information.
