--- Start of Idrisi List message Hi all, on trying to import Shape-files, Idrisi reports "Unexpected error condition...". I know these shape files are intact. These shape files are ca. 9.8 MB resp. 81 MB large and I can view them using ArcView or convert them to dxf. When I convert them first to dxf, the smaller one of these two is imported, but not the larger on, exiting with this same error. This is not an issue of memory shortage, since I have 520 MB RAM and 1.2 GB swap. Who can help me work around this problem? Is there a switch for allocating as much RAM to Idrisi as possible? I have tried allocating Idrisi-process the highest prioritiy possible, but with no positive results. Or how can I break a shape file in manageable pieces (this would be my last resort I think).
