--- Start of Idrisi List message Hi all I am seeking advice on how best to show/create a global map, specifically with Idrisi. The end map is required more for display than for analysis. My thoughts/questions are as follows. Absolutely any advice on this is gladly accepted! Idrisi v2 accomodated no projections suitable for a world map. One had to resort to Lat/Long. Does anybody know if Idrisi32 is any different? An additional question is : is there any software (preferably cheap or even free) that would take Idrisi format raster/vector files in Lat/Long and project them onto a suitable "world" projection. Finally, what are suitable world projections. The only ones I can think of are Lat/Long, Interrupted Goode Homolosine and Mollweide. I am sure there are many more.
