We have overcome this by asking users to create their own working directory
on their local machine and copy all resource files to it from the server.
This provides them with a copy they can manipulate during the learning
session and a permanant copy they can return to if they dont get it correct.

Hello !
I'm working with Idrisi32. I have a server where I put map intended for
read-only use. Therefore, I want to write protect them (I'm working on
Windows NT). But if I do this, users cannot display the raster files. They
can be queried but the display is completely white.
Is this a known bug? How to fix it without giving write access to the
users?
