The problem related by David Stolper may be related to a problem I get when zooming in very closely:

I have raster images and vector sets that fit them.  The vector sets were created by reclassing and vectorizing the rasters, so the lines zig-zag around the square cell edges where the classes change, and the vectors should fit precisely.

So I display a raster and overlay a vector set which serves as a visual reference.  When I zoom in on this composition
    1.  At high zooms, I find that the raster colours are being misplaced, slightly.  I can use cursor-query and check the raster values.  The values change at cell edges which agree with the display of the vectors, but the cell colours are mis-placed.  (I have reported this problem to Clark Labs, and they are working on it.)
    2. At extreme zooms, when less than ~100 rows/columns fit on the window, no cell colours appear at all.  The zig-zag vector set displays correctly, and I can click on the screen and find out what row/column/value I have at different places, but the raster is not displayed.

Any ideas?
