--- Start of Idrisi List message Hi everybody, I'm new to working with the interpolation tools in Idrisi, so hopefully the following problem is a simple one. When applying the TIN module under the Interploation sub-menu on contourlines imported from MapInfo mif-files or ESRI shapefiles TIN seems only to work on the IDR_ID value field and not on my "altitude" field. I have tried to ASSIGN my "altitude" field to a new vector file and the raw vector file displays OK on the screen, but the result when running the TIN is still the same: a TIN on consecutive numbers 1,2,3 ... corresponding to the IDR_ID field. Does anybody know if there is a way to either: 1) force TIN to work on an assigned field that is NOT the IDR_ID value field or 2) to substitute the IDR_ID field, which in this case is the altitude values, without loosing all repeated values?
