Hi W.,
Here is our talk proposal:
"RPKI Deployment in NAP Ecuador"
In this talk we will present a joint Cisco-LACNIC-NAP.ec project in
which RPKI and origin validation were deployed in the production network
of NAP.ec.
We will describe both technical and community aspects of the projects
including how validation has been implemented for redundancy, how
statistics were collected and how community buy-in was obtained.
The project started with around ~5% RPKI adoption in Ecuador and ended
withan adoption of ~83%, with 'adoption' measured as 'prefixes from EC
covered by ROAs'.
Presenting will be:
- Mrs. Sofia Silva for LACNIC
Depending on flight schedules Alvaro Retana (Cisco) may be present as well.
We were planning on having Mr. Fabian Mejia from NAP.ec there, but
apparently he won't be able to attend as lead times for obtaining
Canadian visas are right now on the 'ridiculous' end of the scale,
apparently due to some public workers' strike.
