The LDAP Duplication/Replication/Update Protocols (ldup) working group has concluded. The group was originally chartered to handle both server-to-server replication and client-server synchronization. The working group ceased work on the first topic when it became clear that any protocol developed in the area would see little or no deployment. With the publication of draft-ietf-ldup-lcup and the LDAP controls on which it depends, work on the second item is complete and the working group is therefore concluding. The working group mailing list will remain open for discussion
