We had a healthy response to our job posting (published in July 2017), receiving several dozen applications. After review of the applications and interviewing top candidates, the IAOC has selected Portia Wenze-Danley to fill the position, effective October 1, 2017. Portia has most recently been the Chief Operating Officer at the Center for Democracy and Technology, and she has many years’ experience working with a variety of different organizations. Please join me in welcoming Portia as interim IAD! Ray Pelletier remains IAD until his retirement on October 31st, and he will be working to bring Portia up to speed during the next month.
