This document is the product of the HTTP Working Group. The IESG contact persons are Murray Kucherawy and Francesca Palombini. This allows conventions used across CDNs to be standardized. Working Group Summary This document had support and authorship from three major CDNs. The rest of the WG supported the work, but was less involved than the CDN vendors. Document Quality The protocol is being worked on by three major CDNs, who have done implementations of cache control mechanisms for their CDNs. These vendors are all planning to use this new standard format.
