The IESG is responsible for appointing one person to the IETF Trust for a two-year term that began in March 2022. (As explained in the call for nominations [1], due to a clerical error, the appointment process was unfortunately not started on time.)
Following the call for nominations [1], the following candidates have accepted a nomination: * John Levine * Michael D. Palage * Michael Richardson * Stephan Wenger, currently serving as the IESG appointee on a two year term * Vint Cerf Please send feedback about these candidates to [email protected]. This feedback will be held in confidence by the IESG. Please provide the feedback by October 28, 2020. In the call for nominations, we announced if there was an overlap between the candidate pool overlap for the IESG appointed Trust position and the NomCom, the IESG would delay our appointment until the NomCom selection was announced. Such an overlap exists. However, given the current NomCom timeline [2], the IESG is confident that we will make an appointment before the NomCom deadline for community feedback on November 28. Therefore we do not intend to delay our appointment. We thank you in advance for your help.
