The IETF Community Survey 2022 has now closed. Thank you very much to the
2000+ of you that took the time to respond - this information is exceptionally
to our understanding of the IETF community and how you perceive the IETF.

We will now work on a detailed analysis and report. In the meantime you can
view a basic summary dashboard of the results here:

A few pointers to notable results:

- Q1. The high proportion of people who monitor/read IETF lists without posting
- Q4. The poor gender balance.
- Q6a. The relative proportion of academics
- Q21. The number of people who were/are unaware of ietf-announce
- Q22/Q24. The strength of preference for email as a communications medium
- Q24. The strength of preference for interacting via issue trackers (e.g.
GitHub)
- Q25. The weakness of the time it takes for RFCs to be produced
- Q26. The relatively lower score for "understanding the IETF" and "feeling
part of the IETF community"
- Q27. The relatively low score for "participants contribute as individuals
and not are representatives of their employers or clients"

Thanks again for your responses.
