This document is the product of the Service Function Chaining Working Group. The IESG contact persons are Jim Guichard, Andrew Alston and John Scudder. A URL of this Internet-Draft is: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-sfc-oam-packet/ Technical Summary This document clarifies an ambiguity in the Network Service Header (NSH) specification, as relates to the handling of the O bit, and provides clarity to the meaning of an "OAM Packet" as discussed in [RFC8300]. Working Group Summary There was nothing major to note in the working group as regards this document. Support in the WGLC was limited yet positive, and the issues that were raised during the course of the document progression have been adequately addressed. Document Quality There are multiple implementations of RFC8300 which this document updates, some open source and some proprietary.
