This document is the product of the Dynamic Host Configuration Working Group. The IESG contact persons are Erik Kline and Éric Vyncke. Working Group Summary This document seemed to reach consensus of the DHC working group. Review was done by several members of the group during it's life cycle. It had good discussion during meetings and on the mailing list. Document Quality An implementation is in progress on Android at https://r.android.com/2709341. Personnel The Document Shepherd for this document is Timothy Winters. The Responsible Area Director is Éric Vyncke. IANA Note There are two different IANA request in this document. A request for two new DHCPv6 messages and one new DHCPv6 option. DHCP message types require standard action, which the DHC working group reviewed. DHCP options require expect review from Bernie Volz, Ted Lemon, Tomek Mrugalski.
