The IETF Nomination Committee (NomCom) for 2024-2025 is seeking nominations
from now until September 27th, 2024.

The open positions being considered by this year's NomCom can be found on this
year's NomCom website (job description and desired expertise will follow in the
next days, bodies are doing final approvals):
https://datatracker.ietf.org/nomcom/2024/

To nominate someone, please click on the "Nominate" link at the top of the home
page, or go there directly: https://datatracker.ietf.org/nomcom/2022/nominate/

Please include a brief description why you are nominating the person. The
"Candidate phone" is optional. If you do not click the "Share nominator name"
box at the top of the page, then your nomination will be confidential and the
nominee will not be told who was the nominator.

If you are unable to use the web form, nominations may instead be made by email
to nomcom2024 at ietf.org, If using email, please include the word "Nominate"
in the Subject and indicate in the email who is being nominated, their email
address (to confirm acceptance of the nomination), and the position for which
you are making the nomination. If you are nominating someone other than
yourself, please tell us if we may tell the nominee that you were the one who
made the nomination.

Self nominations are welcome! To nominate the same person (including yourself)
for more than one position, please use the form multiple times or send multiple
emails.

All nominees will be required to complete a questionnaire specific to the
position for which they are nominated. The questionnaires will be available by
September 6th, 2024 (at the NomCom page) and will also be mailed to the
nominees directly.

The list of nominees will be made available, and an opportunity for community
feedback will be made after the nominations are closed (September 27th, 2024).
All feedback will be kept confidential to the committee, and all committee
discussions and votes are also confidential.

Remember that it is easier to refuse a nomination, or decline later, then it is
to nominate (or be nominated) later on.

We look forward to seeing a diverse set of nominations! This is one of the key
factors in the future success of the IETF and enables the NomCom to deliver its
purpose.
