The Internet Architecture Board (IAB) recently requested nominations for IRTF Chair[1].
Following the call for nominations, which ran from 2024-07-16 through 2024-09-10, the IAB contacted each person who was nominated, asking them to accept or reject their nomination. At this point, 7 people have indicated a willingness to serve. They are: • Matthew Caesar [2] • Wes Hardaker [3] • Jianfei (Jeffrey) HE [4] • Dirk Kutscher [5] • Michael lee Tegeda [6] • Haya Schulmann [7] • Dirk Trossen [8] The IAB is actively soliciting comments on these people and their ability to serve as IRTF Chair.
