The IESG has received a request from the A Semantic Definition Format for Data and Interactions of Things WG (asdf) to consider the following document: - 'Semantic Definition Format (SDF) for Data and Interactions of Things' <draft-ietf-asdf-sdf-19.txt> as Proposed Standard The IESG plans to make a decision in the next few weeks, and solicits final comments on this action. Please send substantive comments to the [email protected] mailing lists by 2025-02-06. Exceptionally, comments may be sent to [email protected] instead. In either case, please retain the beginning of the Subject line to allow automated sorting. Abstract The Semantic Definition Format (SDF) is concerned with Things, namely physical objects that are available for interaction over a network. SDF is a format for domain experts to use in the creation and maintenance of data and interaction models that describe Things. An SDF specification describes definitions of SDF Objects/SDF Things and their associated interactions (Events, Actions, Properties), as well as the Data types for the information exchanged in those interactions. Tools convert this format to database formats and other serializations as needed. // (This note will be removed by the RFC editor:) The present // revision (–19) addresses comments from the AD review and from the // IESG directorate reviews. The file can be obtained via https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-asdf-sdf/ No IPR declarations have been submitted directly on this I-D. _______________________________________________ IETF-Announce mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected]
