This document is the product of the IPv6 Maintenance Working Group. The IESG contact persons are Erik Kline and Éric Vyncke. It obsoletes RFC 6874 and updates RFC 4007, RFC 7622 and RFC 8089. Discussion Venue This note is to be removed before publishing as an RFC. Working Group Summary This document is the outcome of a previous attempt and addressing IPv6 link-local addresses in URIs. This time, the consensus extends to include several others outside the IETF community (specifically some web folks).
