The IESG has received a request from the Session Initiation Protocol Core WG (sipcore) to consider the following document: - 'A Comprehensive Errata for 'retransmission-allowed' XML Element' <draft-ietf-sipcore-retransmission-allowed-fixes-03.txt> as Proposed Standard
The IESG plans to make a decision in the next few weeks, and solicits final comments on this action. Please send substantive comments to the [email protected] mailing lists by 2026-01-08. Exceptionally, comments may be sent to [email protected] instead. In either case, please retain the beginning of the Subject line to allow automated sorting. Abstract This document fixes use of the 'retransmission-allowed' element of PIDF-LO in six published RFCs. All text and examples should show 'true' or 'false' to match the XML schema definitions, but some RFCs incorrectly use 'yes' or 'no'. This document updates RFC4119, RFC5606, RFC5774, RFC6442, RFC7378, RFC8262. The file can be obtained via https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-sipcore-retransmission-allowed-fixes/ No IPR declarations have been submitted directly on this I-D. The document contains these normative downward references. See RFC 3967 for additional information: rfc5606: Implications of 'retransmission-allowed' for SIP Location Conveyance (Informational - Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) stream) rfc7378: Trustworthy Location (Informational - Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) stream) _______________________________________________ IETF-Announce mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected]
