Dear Colleagues,

According to[ RFC 8713](https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc8713) it is
Sally Wentworth’s task, as Internet Society President, to select a new NomCom
chair. She has asked me to support her in this effort.

We use the [job description we drafted last
year](https://github.com/InternetSociety/IETF-NomCom-Chair/blob/main/JobDescription.md)
that forms the basis for Sally's search and we are following the practice of
using trusted individuals, such as former nomcom chairs, IETF BoT members, and
her own network to scout for a new nomcom chair.

That said, feel free to send me suggestion for names that meet the requirements
in [the job
description](https://github.com/InternetSociety/IETF-NomCom-Chair/blob/main/JobDescription.md)
and a reason why they should be considered. Preferably before the IETF 125 in
Shenzen. Any suggestion will be treated with required confidentiality. My
PGP-ID is
[E02D2FBD](https://keys.openpgp.org/vks/v1/by-fingerprint/84B2088BDBA73B66CB243B15CCDE04E4E02D2FBD).

Best,
