A new IETF non-working group email list has been created. List address: [email protected] Archive: https://mailarchive.ietf.org/arch/browse/mole/ To subscribe: https://mailman3.ietf.org/mailman3/lists/mole.ietf.org/
Purpose: Website operators have to deal with a lot of abuse and they often feel like their servers are suffering. The current methods they have available all have significant downsides: CAPTCHAs, fingerprinting, asking people for ID. Moderation of unLinkable Endorsements (MoLE) seeks to address this concern. It builds on learnings from Privacy Pass, but it uses a novel architecture that seeks to provide both stronger privacy guarantees and more flexible capabilities for servers. The discussion on this list will be limited to the architecture, protocols, and integration of necessary cryptographic primitives. https://github.com/Moderation-of-unLinkable-Endorsements contains some of the work that people are starting to work on. This list belongs to IETF area: SEC For additional information, please contact the list administrators. _______________________________________________ IETF-Announce mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected]
