This action is complete. The actual downtime for the datatracker was
essentially zero, though there was a longer than expected delay added to
asynchronous processing (such as for draft submission) that we will
address before proceeding with the remaining steps detailed in [1] below.

In order to perform a necessary upgrade to the infrastructure
supporting the Datatracker [1], there will be a Datatracker outage
around 2100 UTC 8 June 2026. This outage is necessary now to bring us
back onto a supported version of Kubernetes running our production
cluster.
We expect this outage to last approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
We apologize for this outage. We are working towards being able to
make these kinds of updates with zero interruption to the Datatracker,
but until we complete the changes we intended to make on 4 June [2],
the outage is necessary.
