# Hotel Reservations

The IETF 126 room block at the Hilton Vienna Park will close on 24 June 2026.
Participants are encouraged to make their reservations before this date to take
advantage of the negotiated group rates, as room availability and pricing
cannot be guaranteed afterward.

To ensure the room block is reserved exclusively for IETF participants, the
hotel booking link is available only through your participant dashboard after
completing registration.

Additional information about the venue and hotel accommodations can be found on
the IETF 126 Hotel page.

# Travel Agency Email Scam

We are aware that registered meeting participants are being targeted for travel
agency offerings. Please note that we have engaged IETF legal teams and issued
an official cease and desist order. If you continue to receive unsolicited
email related to IETF 126, please forward those messages to [email protected].

# Venue Capacity

Onsite attendance in Vienna for IETF 126 is expected to be high. Participants
should be aware that some areas of the venue, particularly foyers and other
common spaces used during breaks, may feel crowded during peak periods.

The IETF Meetings team has maximized the available space and optimized room
layouts wherever possible. We appreciate everyone's flexibility and cooperation
as we make the best use of the space available.

# Labdoo Laptop Collection

We’re happy to announce that we are collaborating with Labdoo.org to host a
drop point at the IETF 126 venue to collect laptop donations. Labdoo invites
participants to bring old, unused laptops to the event. These laptops will be
reinstalled with a Linux-based operating system and loaded with 50GB to 200GB
of educational content, including the entire Wikipedia offline, Khan Academy
courses, copyleft books, and more.

Minimum Laptop Requirements:

  -2GB of RAM
  -The laptop must function well
-Please do not forget to include the AC adapter

The drop off point will be available during the hours the IETF meeting
registration desk is open starting Monday, 20 July. We strongly encourage you
to completely wipe your laptop of all personal data and information.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Jordi Ros-Giralt, President,
Labdoo.org at [email protected].
