If you don’t already have one, you can create it during the registration process. # Hotel Reservations The IETF 126 room block at the Hilton Vienna Park will close on 24 June 2026. Participants are encouraged to make their reservations before this date to take advantage of the negotiated group rates, as room availability and pricing cannot be guaranteed afterward. To ensure the room block is reserved exclusively for IETF participants, the hotel booking link is available only through your participant dashboard after completing registration. Please note that we have engaged IETF legal teams and issued an official cease and desist order. If you continue to receive unsolicited email related to IETF 126, please forward those messages to [email protected]. # Venue Capacity Onsite attendance in Vienna for IETF 126 is expected to be high. Participants should be aware that some areas of the venue, particularly foyers and other common spaces used during breaks, may feel crowded during peak periods. The IETF Meetings team has maximized the available space and optimized room layouts wherever possible. We appreciate everyone's flexibility and cooperation as we make the best use of the space available. # Labdoo Laptop Collection We’re happy to announce that we are collaborating with Labdoo.org to host a drop point at the IETF 126 venue to collect laptop donations. Labdoo invites participants to bring old, unused laptops to the event. These laptops will be reinstalled with a Linux-based operating system and loaded with 50GB to 200GB of educational content, including the entire Wikipedia offline, Khan Academy courses, copyleft books, and more. Minimum Laptop Requirements: -2GB of RAM -The laptop must function well -Please do not forget to include the AC adapter The drop off point will be available during the hours the IETF meeting registration desk is open starting Monday, 20 July. We strongly encourage you to completely wipe your laptop of all personal data and information.
