Technical Summary

A Segment Routing (SR) Policy Candidate Path can contain multiple
Segment Lists, allowing for load-balancing and redundancy across
diverse paths. However, current PCEP extensions for SR Policy only
allow signaling of a single Segment List per Candidate Path. This
document defines PCEP extensions to encode multiple Segment Lists
within an SR Policy Candidate Path, enabling multipath capabilities
such as weighted or equal-cost load-balancing across Segment Lists.
These extensions are designed to be generic and reusable for future
path types beyond SR Policy, and are applicable to both stateless and
   stateful PCEP.

Working Group Summary

This document was in development with the PCE WG for over 5 years
and has received good reviews, feedback, and support for progression.
Over the course of these years, there have been many contributors to
this document that resulted in 9 authors. This was addressed late in
the WG phase by identifying two editors on the front page and additional
authors in a separate section. There was also one specific extension
related to backup paths that was moved into a different WG document
that actually used that extension to unblock the progression of this
   document to publication as RFC.

Document Quality

The document is of good quality and has benefited from reviews
by a diverse set of WG participants that are also implementers.
There are at least 3 implementations reported in the document
with varying level of support for the extensions in this document.
The document has received early directorate reviews from RTGDIR
and OPSDIR. There is technology overlap with SPRING WG and this
is covered by the overlap in WG participants and worked on and
reviewed this document. No other specific external or expert
review was thought to be necessary.

Personnel

The Document Shepherd for this document is Adrian Farrel. The
Responsible Area Director is Ketan Talaulikar.
