Purpose: This list provides a dedicated space for discussing broadband access-related work within the IETF. This includes protocol extensions (e.g., PPPoE, IPoE, ANCP) and IANA allocations that fall outside the scope of the Broadband Forum (BBF). Currently, these drafts either default to the general Internet Area Working Group (intarea) or remain floating without an active working group, which creates a barrier to entry for new contributors. The goal of this list is to provide a focal point for broadband topics, gauge community interest, motivate contributions, and eventually initiate a BoF request.
